CAIRO: Egypt international defender Hani Saied took part in his first training session with Zamalek on Wednesday after completing a move from Ismaili.
Saied, who made a u-turn on his decision to sign for Zamalek and once again to play for the White Castle, was received very well by both players and fans.
The international defender, who won the 2008 African Cup of Nations with Egypt in February, joined his new teammates in the closed camp ahead of their opening Group B game of the CAF Champions League against Ahly on Sunday.
Zamalek have added Saied to their African roster, along with Ayman Abdel Aziz, Junior Agogo and Osama Hassan. However, the former Bari player is expected to miss the Cairo derby.
