Ismaili aim to extend Fadl's contract

ISMAILIA: Ismaili are stepping up their efforts to extend Mohamed Fadl’s contract, the club’s technical director Ali Abou-Greisha said on Friday.

“The player prefers to stay with us, former Ismaili great Abou-Greisha told FilGoal.com.

The towering striker’s deal with the coastal club runs out next summer.

Ismaili cannot afford to lose more stars after influential duo Hani Saied and Hosni Abd-Rabou left the club, according to Abou-Greisha.

“We need to keep hold of our remaining stars after the departure of Saied and Abd-Rabou to Zamalek and AhlY Dubai respectively, he said.

Fadl, 26, has been Ismaili’s main striker and top scorer over the past two years.
