CAIRO: Amr Zaki scored in the last minutes in his first match for Wigan Athletic as the Latics claimed a 3-2 friendly victory over Sheffield.
The Egypt frontman came off the bench in the 58th minute to seal the win for Steve Bruce s men.
Senegalese forward Henri Camara passed the ball to Zaki inside the six-yard box and the 25-year-old scored in stoppage time.
Earlier in the game, Sheffield Wednesday came from behind twice before Zaki settled the contest.
Zaki, who joined Wigan on a season-long loan from Zamalek, is hoping to take part in his side s Premier League opener against West Ham United on Aug. 16.
