The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) will send Hosni Abd-Rabou s ITC to Ahli Dubai after Ahli (Egypt) decided to drop any legal actions against the player.
Ahli won t file a complaint against Abd-Rabou and so we will send his license to Ahly Dubai, the President of the EFA Samir Zaher told FilGoal.com.
The EFA held Abd-Rabou s ITC upon Ahly’s request after the latter threatened to go to FIFA.
Then the Reds reversed their position and decided to drop any charges against the Ismaili player asking him to refund the sums he had received last year when he signed a four-year deal.
Abd-Rabou, who was in a contractual dispute between Ahly, Strasbourg and Ismaili, has been loaned out to Ahly Dubai for $2 million.
A statement on the club s website said that Ahly will drop all their legal actions against the player who has confirmed that he doesn t want to play for the Red Devils.
The Ahly board decided not to complain Hosni Abd-Rabou to FIFA, so that the player does not get punished, the statement read.
The club will not chase a player who clearly said that he doesn t want to play for Ahly.
The statement also revealed that the board will sue the French club Strasbourg for breach of contract as Ahly bought the player from them last year worth ?700,000.
