Tottenham Hotspur s out-of-favor midfielder Hossam Ghaly is looking to seal a loan deal before the transfer window closure.
Ghaly has two days remaining to find a new club or risk spending around five months without making a single appearance.
The Egyptian midfielder is aware that his hopes to break into Spurs squad are all but over.
Spurs have signed some very good players this summer to complement a squad already filled with quality, he told Sky Sports.
It is clear that I am not going to play there this season and I need to find a new club.
Ghaly fell out of favor at White Hart Lane following his infamous shirt tantrum with Tottenham s former coach Martin Jol in May 2007.
I have no problem with anybody at Spurs who are a great club but it is clear that for the sake of my career I need to move on, he added.
Ghaly spent a relatively successful loan spell with Derby County in the second half of last season.
Although they were relegated to the Championship, Ghaly hasn t ruled out a return to Pride Park.
A loan move could be ideal for all parties concerned, I want to play in the Premier League, it is the place to be, however I would not rule out a return to Derby County.
Paul Jewell is a great manager and a great motivator. I have followed Derby s movements in the transfer market this summer and they have invested heavily in new players.
It will take time for them . but I am sure they will challenge for promotion this season.
