CAIRO: Zamalek winger Mohamed Abdullah made a swift recovery from a knee cap injury to take part in the team s Thursday training session.
After he was injured during Zamalek s friendly against Menouf two weeks ago, Abdullah was expected to sit on the bench for three weeks.
We are rehabilitating [Abdullah] to take part against ENPPI, that s why we [decided to] let him train after his knee felt better, club doctor Mostafa El-Monayeri told FilGoal.com.
Meanwhile, Abdullah denied that the club is suffering any locker room rifts, adding that any training spat is just a result of over enthusiasm by players.
When I was at Ahly, we sometimes had bigger spats over there and no one used to talk about them, he said. Somehow the media seems to be only interested in exaggerating Zamalek s problems.
