CAIRO: Premiership side Blackburn Rovers want to run the rule over ENPPI and Egypt s Ahmed Al-Muhamadi, the Cairo club said.
Al-Muhammadi has been asked to attend a five-day trial with Blackburn before tabling a bid, ENPPI said on their website.
ENPPI said they will consider the issue following the game against Zamalek on Tuesday.
An offer from Hertha Berlin for the 21-year-old Al-Muhammadi was turned down by ENPPI last summer as the German side failed to meet the Egyptian club s financial demands.
Al-Muhammadi is known of being a versatile player, who can play in several positions.
He plays as a right-back with the Egyptian national team but he also can play as a wide man in the midfield.
On several occasions, he has been deployed as a striker with his club in the Egyptian League.
