CAIRO: Zamalek assistant coach Moetemed Gamal hit out at his team, saying their loss to Olympic was totally unjustifiable.
The White Knights slumped to a 3-1 defeat by the Alexandria-based side in the Egyptian League on Sunday.
The team came on with a reckless demeanor, and put in a horrific performance for no apparent reason, Gamal said during the post-match press conference.
He explained that the team had several opportunities that could ve resulted in a better score line, but the players kept easing off.
I met up with the whole squad after the match and told them not to take minnows outfits lightly.
Now we need to put our shameful loss aside and concentrate on the forthcoming games, he added.
