CAIRO: World governing body FIFA has rescheduled Egypt s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda for June 10.
A fax was sent to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) by FIFA on Tuesday, announcing the final date of the pivotal fixture.
The match was initially expected to be held on either June 4 or 5, which would have been more convenient for the Pharaohs.
The six-time African champions are taking part in the Confederations Cup from June 14-28, and facing Algeria on June 6 of the same month in another qualifier.
Egypt assistant coach Shawki Gharib told FilGoal.com the technical staff is going to set a plan for their consecutive commitments.
The Pharaohs start their World cup qualifiers on the March 28 when they take on Zambia in Cairo.
