CAIRO: Wigan Athletic manager Steve Bruce said that the club might not be able to permanently sign Amr Zaki if the Egyptian s price keeps going up.
Zaki is currently on a one-year loan contract at Wigan from Zamalek; the deal gives the Latics an advantage of signing the 25-year-old ahead of other clubs, upon agreeing a fee with the Whites.
However, Bruce said that if Zaki keeps up his brilliant performances, his price will be too high for Wigan to make his move a permanent one.
Of course I hope Amr continues to be here after this season, said the former Birmingham City boss.
But if it goes to £10m and we can t do it, then we can t do it. The price changes every week, he added.
In addition to single handedly winning some games for Wigan, Zaki is the club s top scorer in the Premiership with eight goals so far in the season.
