CAIRO: Zamalek board have issued a statement on the club s official website congratulating Ahly for winning the CAF Champions League trophy.
Zamalek football director Ahmed Refaat said that the club will be holding a training camp in Ismailia starting Wednesday, as part of the team s preparations for the upcoming league derby against Ahly in Nov. 22.
Refaat confirmed that there are no plans of pardoning any of the suspended players as the club aim to imply a strict disciplinary policy.
Mohamed Aboul-Ella, Gamal Hamza and Osama Hassan were all ordered to train separately from the first team after the goalless draw against Arab Contractors.
Tunisian defender Wissem Abdi and Brazilian full-back Ricardo were also put on the club s transfer list after the disappointing performance against Contractors.
Refaat also added that Amr Al-Safti will be available to play against Ahly, denying that the defender s yellow-card against Petrojet on Friday was his second.
