CAIRO: Egypt and ENPPI midfielder Ahmed Al-Muhammadi said that he will go on trial with Blackburn Rovers after Wednesday s friendly with Benin.
The 21-year-old claims he has an appointment with Rovers boss Paul Ince, for a prospected move in January.
I will fly to England on Thursday for a trial with Blackburn, upon the request of their manager, Muhammadi told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.
Coach Ince wanted to see me before opening talks with my club regarding a transfer in the winter break.
Muhammadi has been a regular member of Hassan Shehata s roster since making his debut against Mauritania in 2007.
The versatile midfielder started his career as a center-forward with Ghazl Mahalla, and gradually his skilled caught the attention of many of Egypt’s football coaches and fans.
