Arab Contractors midfielder Ahmed Zahran is on his way to joining Ismaili in the near future, Dervishes board member Mohamed Salah Abou-Greisha said.
Zahran, 29, has a contract at Green Mountain until next summer, but he could join Ismaili in January if Contractors accepted an offer.
We are in advanced talks with Zahran and the player welcomed our offer, former Ismaili star Abou-Greisha told FilGoal.com.
We learnt that Contractors are reluctant to sell any of their players in January, so if we could not get him in the winter break, he will sign on a free at the end of the season.
Ismaili has repeatedly sounded their intention to bring in new faces in the winter break, following the departure of several star players over the past two years.
