CAIRO: Ahly sweeper Emad Al-Nahhas has suffered another injury blow after sparing a crucial ligament for the second time in less than a year.
The 32-year-old was forced to cut Monday s training session short, and further tests on Tuesday confirmed that he needs another surgery similar to the one he underwent last season.
The news is a setback for the player, who just resumed light training in October after a six-month lay off with another crucial injury.
It s more likely that Ahly will be seeking a replacement for Al-Nahhas in January, especially after the African champions let in nine goals in nine league games so far in the season.
