CAIRO: Egypt striker Emad Meteb said he’ll leave Ittihad Jeddah if the club doesn’t pay him his late financial dues, the player’s agent Nader Shawki said.

Shawki told Meteb’s official website that Ittihad owe Meteb $400,000, which should have been paid two months ago.

The agent added that the Saudi club didn’t fulfill their earlier promise to Meteb that they will fund his accommodation in Jeddah, and the whole situation is becoming too much for his client.

The 25-year-old striker is currently on loan at Ittihad from Cairo giants Ahly until the end of the season.

Meteb is already enjoying a fruitful spell in the Saudi League, as he scored 10 goals for Ittihad so far in the season.
