CAIRO: Ismaili has signed midfielder Mahmoud Al-Nadi from Police Union on a one-and-a-half year deal starting this January.
An official from the coastal club revealed that the player put his signature to the contract shortly after both outfits reached a final agreement.
Al-Nadi opted to join Ismaili because he was not compatible with the lifestyle of Cairo, the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com.
The 28-year-old played for Suez-based sides Ghazl and Cement before joining Police early this season.
However, he was nothing more than a substitute with the Cairo club.
Al-Nadi is Ismaili s fourth signing this winter, following the acquisition of Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha, Mozambique defender Dario Khan and forward Mohamed Hegazi.
