CAIRO: Nasr midfielder Hossam Ghaly was forced to quit the Saudi club’s Sunday training after colliding with goalkeeper Mohamed Al-Khogali.
Saudi newspaper Al-Eqtisadiah said that the injury is unlikely to prevent Ghali from playing in Wednesday’s Saudi Cup semi-final against Ittihad.
The paper confirmed that the Egyptian midfielder will be taking part in his team’s Monday evening session, which is part of the team’s preparation for the Cup clash.
The meeting is expected to witness an Egyptian confrontation between the 27-year-old and Ittihad striker Emad Meteb.
Ghali sealed his move to Nasr during the current transfer window, coming from Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premiership.
