Egypt coach Hassan Shehata will name a 19-man squad on Friday for the Pharaohs’ friendly against Ghana.
The Master already called up seven foreign-based players, and the rest of the squad will be officially announced tomorrow.
The game will witness the return of Mohamed Zidan, who didn t play for Egypt since featuring in the African Cup of Nations win in January last year.
Essam Al-Hadari (Sion), Hosni Abd-Rabou (Ahli Dubai), Emad Meteb (Ittihad Jeddah), Mohamed Shawky (Middlesbrough), Mido and Amr Zaki (Wigan) will all take part against the Black Stars.
Shehata will officially announce the rest of his squad on Friday, before the team enter a four-day training camp on Feb. 7.
The Ghana game comes as part of Egypt’s preparations for the upcoming World Cup qualifications, which will commence in March.
