CAIRO: The Egypt U-20 team is set for a closed camp in Turkey, as a part of the preparations for this year s World Cup finals.

Egypt will host the competition in September and the young Pharaohs are expected to make a number of tours around Europe during the upcoming months.

We will have a camp in Turkey starting Feb. 25; we will play three matches there, Egypt assistant coach Hani Ramzy told FilGoal.com.

We are also planning other tours in France, Italy and Germany. Our aim is to benefit from playing against different European teams before the World Cup.

Egypt, managed by Czech Miroslav Soukup, was eliminated from the U-20 African Cup of Nations group stage last month, losing out on only a marginal goal difference.
