CAIRO: Ahly have received an offer to play in a summer friendly tournament in July, where they can meet 13-time English champions Arsenal.
Assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri told FilGoal.com that the club s football committee is yet to decide on whether Ahly will participate in the tournament or not.
Coach Manuel Jose has already chosen Germany to be the venue for the team s summer training camp, which will also commence in July.
The Portuguese tactician asked his players to officially win the league as early as possible, in order to rest some players, who participated in over four local and international competitions this season.
Ahly are currently first in the Egyptian Premier League table with 40 points, with one game in hand and five points more than second-placed Petrojet.
