CAIRO: Arab Contractors Stadium will host Zamalek s remaining home games in the Egyptian Premier League, excluding the Cairo derby with Ahly, the White Knights said on Sunday.
Zamalek s official site confirmed that the upcoming home games with Petrojet and Asyut Petroleum will be played at Green Mountain as Cairo Stadium will be closed for maintenance.
The venue for next month s Cairo derby against champions Ahly, to take place April 23, is yet to be announced.
Zamalek had an option to choose between Railways Stadium and Military Stadium as a temporary solution, with the latter hosting city rivals Ahly s matches.
But the five-time African champions failed to reach an agreement with both Stadiums officials and eventually turned to Contractors.
The Contractors Stadium is already the venue for Police Union and Telecom Egypt, in addition to home club Arab Contractors.
