ISMAILIYA: Ismaili board are set to convene in order to submit a request to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), asking to play the remainder of their league games at the same timing as Ahly.

The Dervishes are currently on top of the league table with 54 points, two more points and two games over second-placed Ahly.

The club board is keen not to resume their league campaign before Ahly play their two games in hand first.

We want to have equal opportunities with Ahly, that s why we ll ask the EFA to hold our remaining games at the same time as Ahly, board member Khaled Al-Tayeb told FilGoal.com.

From his side, Ismaili president Nassr Aboul-Hassan confirmed that the board has made no recent attempts to renew some of the players contracts.

Some media reports are trying to distract our players at this critical stage of the season, but we won’t talk about contracts until the end of the league, Aboul-Hassan said.

Ismaili s remaining games will be against Zamalek, Tersana and Telecom Egypt.
