CAIRO: Zamalek have asked Ghanaian striker Junior Agogo to pay the club a sum of ?1 million, Ghanaian newspaper Daily Guide Ghana reported.
Agogo recently terminated his contract with Zamalek before reporting the club to FIFA as he claimed he wasn t paid the last five months salary.
Zamalek board member Khaled Ahmed Refaat told FilGoal.com that the club wants Agogo to repay ?1 million.
According to the Daily Guide, the Ghanaian Football Association unsuccessfully tried to interfere and solve the ongoing conflict between Agogo and Zamalek.
The robust hitman signed a three-year deal with Zamalek in the summer after his contract with English second division side Nottingham Forest expired.
