CAIRO: Petrojet have received an enquiry from Ahly over the possibility of signing playmaker Walid Soliman in a part-exchange deal.

The Red Devils have reportedly offered two players in exchange of the services of Soliman, who has just finished a four-month loan spell at Ahly Jeddah.

Petrojet would choose two from Hussein Ali, Ahmed Hassan Farag, and Rami Adel in exchange for their star man.

However, the Suez club are hoping to get all three players plus LE1 million, according to a club official, who preferred to stay anonymous.

Fringe trio Ali, Farag and Adel have all been pleading for first-team football this season as the latter spent the past few months on loan with Masri.

On the other hand, Soliman revealed last year that he is flattered by Ahly s interest and would be glad if his club allowed him to join the African champions.

The 24-year-old still has three years left on his contract with the coastal club.
