CAIRO: Zamalek and Egypt hitman Amr Zaki is set to undergo a rehabilitation program, after recuperating from a thigh tear.
According to the White Knights official website, the 26-year-old will start light jogging on Monday.
Zaki sustained the injury in Egypt s 3-1 loss to Algeria early this month in the 2010 World Cup qualifying stage.
The thigh problem prevented the robust striker from taking part in Egypt s Confederations Cup campaign in South Africa.
After spending last season on loan at Wigan Athletic in the English Premier League, Zaki is now likely to stay at Zamalek for the upcoming season.
Despite expressing a desire to stay in Europe, the 26-year-old is yet to receive any offers from clubs there.
