CAIRO: Zamalek have called on Ismaili to value their defender Sherif Abdel-Fadil in case they agree to offload him in the close season.
A Zamalek senior official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com that both clubs have reached a verbal agreement that Abdel-Fadil would join Zamalek if the Dervishes decide to sell him.
The international defender received a multitude of offers this summer, after Ismaili were plagued with a financial crisis.
But Ismail board member Khaled Farw assured that all these bids were turned down, as the club haven t agreed yet to let him go.
We haven t decided to offload Abdel-Fadil or any other player, and the boardroom made no decision to transfer list anyone, he said.
The Ismaili center-half had previously threatened to leave the club if he wasn t offered an improved contract.
Abdel-Fadil s current contract includes a ?650,000 release clause, but his departure is contingent upon Ismaili s approval.
