CAIRO: Arab Contractors football director Mohamed Ramadan refuted rumors that the club will sell striker Ibrahim Al-Masri to Zamalek next January.
Zamalek s have earlier expressed a desire to sign Al-Masri and the 23-year-old showed initial approval to join the White Knights.
It was reported that Contractors want to wait until next January to make sure their team will have a good first half of next season before letting Al-Masri leave.
It is very important that we keep our star players. Al-Masri still has a four-year contract and we won’t sell him now or in January, Ramadan told FilGoal.com.
Al-Masri impressed for the Mountain Wolves last season, where he scored 10 goals and helped the club maintain their Premier League status.
