CAIRO: The Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU) has acquired the broadcasting rights of the Super Cup match between Ahly and Harras Hodoud for LE 1.25 million.
The Egyptian Football Association previously decided against televising the season curtain-raiser after a seven-member committee failed to reach an agreement with ERTU, but a deal was cut later on.
Pursuant to the deal, the game will be aired live on local television and ERTU can sell the broadcasting rights to space channels.
The Super Cup clash takes place on Tuesday.
