CAIRO: Zamalek accepted a loan offer for out-of-favor midfielder Ayman Abdel-Aziz, according to chairman Mamdouh Abbas personal advisor.
We have received a loan offer from Turkey s Manisaspor for Abdel-Aziz and the idea was welcomed by the board, Zamalek transfer committee official Tarek Hashish told FilGoal.com.
Negotiations are in progress, but he won t leave for less than $150,000.
Abdel-Aziz, who spent half of last season on-loan at Konyaspor, failed to settle in upon his return to Zamalek from Trabzonspor last summer.
The 30-year-old is a well-known figure in Turkey, thanks to his 10-year experience with the likes of Kocaelispor, Malatyaspor, Genclerbirligi and Trabzon.
After his loan with Konya came to an end, Abdel-Aziz has frequently expressed his desire to leave for Turkey again, rather than spending next season with Zamalek.
