CAIRO: Former Tersana coach Mohamed Omar said he has been appointed Egypt U-16 manager.
I accepted the U-16 team post after I was approached by Egyptian Football Association board member Ayman Younes, the ex-Egypt international told FilGoal.com.
Omar will be assisted by former Ahly star Walid Salaheddine and former Zamalek midfielder Tamer Abdel-Hamid.
Omar quit Tersana last season after the Hammers were almost certain to go down.
