CAIRO: Egypt will play Thursday s exhibition game with Tanzania without deploying their foreign-based figures, the Pharaohs technical staff announced.

The Egyptian internationals, who ply their trade abroad and were named for the crucial World Cup qualifier against Algeria, will arrive in Egypt on Friday, according to the Egyptian Football Association s official website.

The African champions squad for the qualifying match includes four foreign-based players: Mohamed Shawki, Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa, Mohamed Zidan and Hosni Abd-Rabou.

Egypt s friendly game with Tanzania is part of their preparations for their highly-anticipated encounter against the Desert Foxes.

Fans will be allowed to watch Egypt s training session in Aswan on Tuesday; however, head coach Hassan Shehata still has reservations about media personnel.

A victory by a three-goal margin for Egypt will see them reach the World Cup by a better goal difference.
