CAIRO: Algeria and Bochum defender Antar Yahia has been ruled out of his country s critical World Cup qualifier against Egypt due to injury.
Bundesliga side Bochum announced on their official site that the 27-year-old would be sidelined for two weeks in order to recuperate from a foot injury which he sustained during Wednesday s training.
Yahia will miss his club s upcoming league game against Freiburg on Saturday as well as Algeria s trip to Egypt on Nov. 14, the website mentioned.
Algeria trio Madjid Bougherra, Karim Ziani and Yacine Bezzaz have also suffered different injuries of late.
