Ayew threatens to leave Zamalek

CAIRO: Zamalek midfielder Ibrahim Ayew said he would get back to his homeland Ghana if he didn t receive his overdue payments within two days.

Ayew, who joined Zamalek last summer, said he didn t get paid as promised, and thus may terminate his contract.

His agent Mounir Hassan assured that the club s board would sort things out in no time.

Ayew should have received his payments on Sunday after he returned from Ghana, but . he didn t, Hassan told FilGoal.com.

The club s board assured that he would be paid in a couple of days.

Ayew hasn t been paid his wages and bonuses since October.
