CAIRO: Liberian striker Francis Doe looks set to return for Ahly in Saturday s league game with Ismaili after he resumed full training with the team.
The Red Devils said that the 24-year-old was able to train with the group after missing the recent draws with Ittihad and Zamalek due to a hamstring strain.
Meanwhile, Egypt striker Emad Meteb is training solely in an attempt to regain full fitness before the Ismailia clash.
Meteb has also been struggling with a hamstring injury sustained in Ahly s 1-0 victory at Petrojet last month.
Ahly already miss influential playmaker Mohamed Abou-Trika, who is sidelined for two months with a foot problem.
