CAIRO: Ismaili board member Sayed Sedik said recent comments made by Essam Al-Hadari were meant to motivate the players and the goalkeeper has no intention of leaving.
Following the Dervishes disappointing home draw with bottom club Asyut Petroleum, Al-Hadari declared that he could be looking for another club if results didn’t get better.
He was not implying that he wants to leave. He was rather trying to stimulate the spirit of the players, Sedik told FilGoal.com.
We hope that he would see out the remainder of his contract with Ismaili.
Al-Hadari, 36, penned a three-year contract with the coastal club at the start of the season, signing from Switzerland s Sion.
