CAIRO: Zamalek defender Amr Al-Safti backtracked on his decision to leave the Cairo club in the winter, after boss Hossam Hassan coaxed him into extending his stay.
The former Masri man had initially refused to sign a new deal with the White Knights, and revealed his intention of leaving after seeing off his contract in the summer.
However, he had a change of heart after talking to Hassan.
Hassan asked me to renew my contract and I agreed, but Zamalek s offer has to be as worthwhile as the other bids I ve got, Al-Safti told FilGoal.com.
The 27-year-old says he received solid offers from several Egyptian top-flight sides.
