Egypt's swine flu death toll reaches 172

CAIRO: The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday the death of 10 swine flu cases, raising Egypt’s H1N1 tally to 172. The most recent deaths, according the ministry, are a 27-year-old man from Daqahlia, two 50-year-old women from Cairo, a 12-year-old girl from Beni Suef, a six-year-old girl from Helwan, a 25-year-old woman from Giza, a 23-year-old man from Daqahlia, a 28-year-old woman from Gharbiya, a 54-year-old women from Sohag, and a 24-year-old woman from Beheira. An optional, free of charge H1N1 vaccination campaign began at schools and universities in Cairo and Alexandria on Sunday. – Daily News Egypt
