CAIRO: The Ministry of Health reported four swine flu related deaths late on Tuesday bringing the death toll in Egypt to 205.

The virus claimed the lives of a one-year-old boy from Menufiya, a 41-year-old woman from Daqahleya, a 23-year-old from North Sinai and a 25-year-old from Minya.

Additionally, the governor of Cairo announced the closure of three more classrooms where swine flu cases appeared.

In related news, a 51-year-old man arriving to Egypt on the Turkish airways from Istanbul was caught smuggling 85 strips of Tamiflu, the drug used to treat H1N1. The drug was found strapped to the passenger’s waist.

However, because no case was filed against him, the passenger was released on the condition that the drug be confiscated. -Daily News Egypt
