PHD signs Taj to manage three hotels

CAIRO: Egyptian real estate developer Palm Hills (PHD) said Sunday that it has signed on an Indian company to manage its three hotels in the North Coast, Ain Sokhna and Aswan.

The hotels will be first entry into the Egyptian market for Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, according to a statement.

PHD’s first deluxe boutique hotel, which will boast 200 rooms, is due to open in 2013 in the North Coast resort of Hacienda Bay.

“We are honored to be partnering with Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces.to ensure the highest standards in service and hospitality, said Yasseen Mansour, chairman and CEO of PHD.

Taj, the flagship brand of the Indian Hotels Company Limited, was founded in 1903 and now operates in New Delhi, Sydney, London, New York, Boston, the Maldives and Dubai. -Daily News Egypt
