CAIRO: Zamalek captain Abdel-Wahed Al-Sayed is set to retain his position between the posts against Ismaili despite a nagging pain in the head.
The veteran keeper collided with teammate Mahmoud “Shikabala Abdel-Razeq in training but has been included in Hossam Hassan s 22-man roster for Monday s crucial league game.
The pain is normal, it could even last for two weeks, Zamalek doctor Mostafa Al-Monayeri told FilGoal.com.
I don’t think the headache will have an effect on Abdel-Wahed. He should be focused.
Meanwhile, manager Hassan has included two backup goalkeepers with Abdel-Wahed in Mohamed Abdel-Monsef and Emad Al-Sayed.
Once again, African duo Rahim Ayew and Marcel Adiko failed to make the list.
