Cairo 360 is a new website that aims to offer more than just standard or selective reviews. It takes things a step further by providing both honest reviews as well as collecting as much information as possible regarding events and leisure activities around the city, and presenting them on one forum.
Launched approximately two weeks ago, Cairo 360’s popularity has been interesting to monitor. At press time, the website’s Facebook group had 2,377 members who closely follow its daily updates.

Well-organized and user-friendly, the website is a pleasure to peruse, but are the restaurant reviews as honest as they claim?
Well on Sangria, a popular night time dinner and dance destination with great Nile views, they write: “Navigating the restaurant when dancing is in full swing can be akin to playing a game of dodge ball – honest enough, and with a little humor thrown in for good measure.
Best of all, feature pieces on subjects such as Egypt’s camel markets or local museums – often overlooked by locals – prove that Cairo 360 is reminding everyone of their options in the city.
There are also freebies and giveaways offered on the website, so readers are encouraged to check those out. Best of all, the brains behind the website are promoting it by offering free cab rides for those tired after a night out on the town. Ten cabs emblazoned with the website’s green logo can be found outside various nightspots including Tamarai and the Cairo Jazz Club, and during the day at places such as Lucille’s in Maadi – queued up to give away free rides.
