CAIRO: The final day of the Egyptian Premier League season will take place on the 17th of May instead of the 14th, following the swine flu outbreak among Gaish team members.

It was confirmed on Wednesday that four Gaish players and a staff member have contracted the H1N1 virus, which forced the FA to alter the dates of the team s next two fixtures.

The league will now end on the 17th of May due to the unexpected changes in fixture dates, Competitions Committee chief Amer Hussein told FilGoal.com.

Gaish s league match with ENPPI, initially scheduled for Friday, has been moved to the 24th of April.

The military side s clash with Ismaili will be played on May 3rd instead of the 20th of April.
