ALEXANDRIA: Ittihad manager Carlos Cabral extended his contract at the Alexandrian club for two seasons.
The new deal stipulates that the Brazilian tactician’s monthly wage will be $25,000, Ittihad’s board member Sherif Al-Helw told FilGoal.com.
A $75,000 compensation clause was also included in the new contract.
Cabral was appointed at Ittihad this season after the coastal side suffered a string of poor results. He was hailed as a skillful coach after leading a turnaround in the club’s fortune.
Ittihad lie in ninth place in the Egyptian Premier League table with 34 points.
