The average yield on Egyptian 266-day treasury bills rose to 10.413 percent at an auction on Monday, compared with 10.141 percent at the last auction on April 12.
The central bank said it accepted bids for bills worth LE 3 billion ($540 million), the same amount it was seeking.
It accepted bids at rates between 10.251 and 10.451, compared with 10.05 and 10.19 percent at the previous auction.
The bills are for issue on May 4 and they mature on Jan. 25, 2011.
