Minister of Trade and Industry Rachid Mohamed Rachid met Sunday with officials of the chemical and fertilizers industries sector as part of following up the implementation of a strategy on increasing the total volume of Egyptian exports from LE 92 billion to LE 200 billion in 2013.
The meeting is one of several meetings to be held by Rachid with officials in various industrial sectors to follow up boosting exports, according to Executive Director of the Industrial Modernization Center Adham Nadim.
The coming meetings are expected to take place with officials in the foodstuffs, agriculture and textiles industries, he added.
