Egypt's Misr Beni Suef Q1 net profit falls to $19 mln

CAIRO: Egypt’s Misr Beni Suef Cement posted a 1.2 percent fall in net profit to LE 106.1 million ($19 million) for the first quarter of 2010, the stock exchange said on Sunday.

The company, which gave no further details on its results, had made a net profit of LE 107.4 million in the same period a year earlier.

Results were released after market close. Misr’s shares fell 0.1 percent to LE 183. The benchmark index slid 3.2 percent.
