Egypt's Sewedy Cables Q1 net up 32 pct to $47 mln

CAIRO: Egypt’s El Sewedy Cables first quarter net profit rose 32 percent to LE 266.0 million ($47 million), the stock exchange reported on Monday.

The company, the biggest Arab cable maker by market value, had a net profit for the first quarter of 2009 of LE 200.8 million, the exchange added, without providing other details.
