CAIRO: Ashour Al-Adham has joined Zamalek from Masri on a swap deal that sends Ahmed Magdi and Ahmed Al-Merghani the opposite direction.
"Al-Adham signed a four-year contract and Masri will have Magdi and Al-Merghani in exchange," a Zamalek spokesman said.
The 25-year-old midfielder will receive LE 5,8 million, FilGoal.com understands.
Al-Adham played under Zamalek manager Hossam Hassan, who was in charge of Masri two years ago.
He plays as a holding midfielder and is an excellent long-range shooter.
Both Magdi and Al-Merghani play in the same position. Magdi can also be deployed as a sweeper in a 3-5-2 formation.
