The average yield on Egyptian 182-day Treasury bills rose a fraction to 10.572 percent in an auction on Sunday from 10.529 percent at last week’s auction.
The central bank accepted bids worth LE 1 billion ($176 million), the same amount it was seeking.
It accepted bids at rates between 10.3 and 10.6 percent compared to a range of 10.3 to 10.62 percent at the previous auction. The bills are for issue on June 15 and mature on Dec. 14, 2010.
