CAIRO: The average yield on Egyptian 182-day Treasury bills was steady at 10.5 percent at an auction on Sunday versus 10.499 percent at last week’s auction.
The central bank accepted bids worth LE 2 billion ($351 million), the same amount it was seeking.
It accepted bids at rates between 10.44 and 10.524 percent compared with a range of 10.42 to 10.54 percent at the previous auction. The bills are for issue on July 20 and mature on Jan 18, 2011.
